House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Democrats are open to challenging election results in Iowa.
In a press conference on Thursday, Pelosi mentioned there was a chance Democrats could overturn the state certified victory of Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-Iowa).
Miller-Meeks defeated Democrat Rita Hart by just six votes in 2020. Hart has since taken to Congress, claiming she identified 22 voters whose ballots were not cast.
In Iowa, the votes were counted, recounted, and in some cases – recounted again.
Now, Rita Hart is asking democrat politicians in DC to elect her because the voters of Iowa did not.

Pelosi claimed the House Administration Committee is following the proper protocols to examine the case.
“I respect the work of the committee. I did see, as you saw in the press, what they decided to, and they were following my, as I read it, the requirements of the law as to how you go forward,” Pelosi stated.
Republicans maintain Miller-Meeks won a free and fair election and are condemning attempts by Democrats to overturn the results.
