PGA golfer Tiger Woods is in the hospital after a serious car crash in Southern California. Early Tuesday morning, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said Woods had to be removed by authorities after a single rollover incident in Ranchos Palos Verdes.

According to Woods’ agent Mark Steinberg, Woods suffered multiple leg injuries and is now in surgery.

In the meantime, other professional athletes are weighing in on the tragic news and sending their condolences, especially fellow golfers close to woods.
“I’m sick to my stomach,” professional golfer Justin Thomas said. “You know, it hurts to see one of your, now one of my closest friends get in an accident. Man, I just hope he’s all right. Just worry for his kids, you know. I’m sure they’re struggling.”
The cause of the crash remains unclear as authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
