Georgia State Rep. Vernon Jones (D-Ga.) said he does not agree with what the Democrat Georgia Senate candidates stand for, despite being a Democrat himself.
In an interview Saturday, Jones said he supports Senators Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) and David Perdue (R-Ga.). He noted Republicans need to take the win to prevent socialism in the nation and to ensure the police are not defunded.
Jones also said he backs President Trump in his fight against election fraud in the state of Georgia.
As a conservative Democrat, we must #HoldTheLine and fight against #socialism, support #LawEnforcement, fight for ##SchoolChoice, defend our #FirstAmendment and protect our #2ndAmendment. Go vote for Republicans senators @KLoeffler & @Perduesenate. @realDonaldTrump #FeelTheVern https://t.co/BfZvcPUnlg pic.twitter.com/8Kdqnw6Z0R

Jones said mail-in ballots have been abused in this election, urging Georgians to go to the polls in overwhelming numbers for Tuesday’s election.
“This whole thing has been riddled with irregularities,” Jones stated, regarding the election.
The Georgia Senate runoffs are now just days away.
