More than two dozen GOP representatives-elect are demanding House Speaker Nancy Pelosi launch an investigation into the 2020 election voting irregularities.

In a letter to the Speaker on Tuesday, the 26 incoming lawmakers said the election process has devolved into chaos.

They cited reports of missing or unverified signatures on absentee ballots, restrictions on elections observers and missing voting machine memory cards.

The group said their constituents are deeply concerned about the integrity of the election and are demanding the irregularities be seriously investigated.

In urging Pelosi to put politics aside, the group said protecting the integrity of our elections is not a partisan issue. They emphasized lawmakers on both sides of the aisle should agree that this is a paramount issue.

This came as many GOP lawmakers on Capitol Hill continue to firmly support the president’s assertion that the election was rigged in favor of his Democrat opponent.

Meanwhile, Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) and other House lawmakers still plan to try to challenge election results during a joint session of Congress on January 6.
