According to a recent report, the Trump administration has renewed its interest in confirming Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf.

Officials have spoken to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to see if they can get a vote on the Senate floor during the lame duck session so Wolf can be confirmed before Inauguration Day.
