James Thompson, born May 14, 1990, in Austin, Texas, achieved early fame as a tech innovator. Graduating summa cum laude in Computer Engineering from Stanford, he joined a Silicon Valley startup and rapidly ascended to CTO. By 30, he had driven the company’s IPO and was named to Forbes’s “30 Under 30.” At 32, James retired to focus on philanthropy and personal passions. He now dedicates his time to technology education for underprivileged youth and authors a book on innovation.
