Royce White, who played for the NBA’s Sacramento Kings starting in 2014, has been endorsed by many people from former President Donald Trump’s circle.
The endorsements include Representative Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), GOP Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake, and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell. He was also backed by the state’s GOP officials.
According to a report by the Star Tribune, White has proudly described himself as a “MAGA extremist.”
He will be running against three-term Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) in the fall.
“Klobuchar, the senior senator from the state, has won re-election twice after her first campaign in 2006. She’s the first woman to represent Minnesota in the Senate,” New York Post reported.
Royce, the GOP hopeful, has raised a little over $125,000 in individual contributions this election cycle and he is heading into the general election with nearly $53,000 cash on hand. However, Klobuchar had $12 million in individual contributions raised and she entered the race with $6.5 million cash on hand, a night and day difference.
