The United States won the most total medals of the games with 126, a huge lead over second place China who won a total of 91 medals.
Rounding out the top three was Great Britain. Team Great Britain narrowly beat out the host country, France, with 65 medals won to 64.
The U.S. also tied China for the most gold medals won at the 2024 games. Both countries took home an impressive 40 gold medals.
The is the third highest medal total in the games’ history for the United States. The 126 medals are the most the U.S. has won since the 1984 Los Angeles games.
