California’s Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) has signed an executive order putting an end to most coronavirus rules. He announced the actions to lift most pandemic orders in addition to the state fully reopening its economy.
On Friday morning, the left-wing governor was excited to share his plans to terminate many of his pandemic-placed restrictions. This would mean the end of the Golden State’s stay-at-home order; the Blueprint for a Safer Economy.
The governor’s office claimed that by the end of Sept., approximately 90 percent of pandemic-related executive actions will have been lifted. However, Newsom will not end California’s State of Emergency status, which grants him the broad powers to either suspend or implement new rules and regulations.
NEW: For the first time in over a year, CA’s #COVID19 hospitalizations have dipped UNDER 1,000 — a massive feat for a population of nearly 40 million.
We’ve now administered nearly 40 MILLION vaccines and are set to fully reopen our economy on Tuesday, 6/15.
Let’s do this, CA.

Californians have said this is a huge step forward in returning back to normalcy.
“California is turning the page on this pandemic, thanks to swift action by the state and the work of Californians who followed public health guidelines and got vaccinated to protect themselves and their communities,” said Newsom.
Meanwhile, California touts one of the country’s lowest case rates as health workers have worked tirelessly to administer nearly 40 million vaccines.
