A new biography claims that Queen Elizabeth II allegedly considered Donald Trump to be “very rude,” following his visit to meet her and other members of the Royal family.

“A Voyage Around the Queen” by author Craig Brown is the controversial biography in question.
Trump maintains that Brown’s claims are completely fabricated, referring to him as a “sleazebag” who is eager to generate sales from anti-Trump consumers.
“[Actually] I heard I was her favorite president,” Trump stated.
“A Voyage around the Queen” claims that during Trump’s visit with the Queen, she had “particularly disliked” Trump looking over her shoulder, as he appeared “disinterested.”
The book also goes on to rudely state, “She also believed President Trump ‘must have some sort of arrangement’ with his wife Melania, or else why would she have remained married to him?”
Meanwhile, an online description of the writer reads, “Craig Edward Moncrieff Brown is an English critic and satirist, best known for parliamentary sketch writing, humorous articles and parodies for newspapers and magazines including The Times, the Daily Mail and Private Eye.”
However, even if the writer had attempted to be humorous, Trump continues to deny these claims.
“It was totally false. I have no idea who the writer is, but it was really just the opposite. I had a great relationship with the Queen. She liked me and I liked her,” Trump said.
The two first met in 2018 during Trump’s presidency, in which they had a short informal meeting during tea time. Additionally, a year after the first encounter, Trump had another official visit to the Queen’s castle, which included a full state banquet.
“We spent hours together at a state dinner. She was a fantastic woman. I think it’s a shame that a sleazebag can write an article that’s totally false,” Trump continued. “She said it to friends of mine that ‘President Trump was my favorite President.’”
“And then you have this guy looking for some publicity for a book that probably is phony, and a lot of other ways too,” Trump added. “We had an unbelievable relationship. She was an amazing woman.”
A former Buckingham Palace official also chimed in after news regarding the book’s claims surfaced. He stated that the Queen had previously described Trump and his family as “gracious” and “wonderful guests,” according to the New York Post.
