Representative Nancy Pelosi recently suggested that President Joe Biden’s image be added to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota.

On Sunday, Pelosi (D-Calif.) described Biden as “such a consequential president of the United States, a Mount Rushmore kind of president,” in an interview with CBS.
“So he was in a good place to make whatever decision, at the top of his game,” Pelosi said about Biden’s decision to drop out of the race.
Soon after, journalist Leslie Stahl proceeded to ask Pelosi if she thinks that Biden “belongs up there on Mount Rushmore.”
“Lincoln and Joe Biden?” Stahl asked.
Pelosi responded, saying: “But you’ve got Teddy Roosevelt up there and he’s wonderful, I don’t say take him down, but you can add Biden.”
Pelosi previously served as the 52nd speaker of the United States House of Representatives from 2007 to 2011, and again from 2019 to 2023.
