A coalition of GOP lawmakers launched a campaign to defund the enforcement of vaccine mandates. Texas congressman Chip Roy said Wednesday that 49 Republican members of Congress will vote against any funding for vaccine mandates.
The group includes Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz, along with Representatives Lauren Boebert, Andy Biggs and others. The lawmakers say government funding for vaccine enforcement expires on February 18 and it must not be extended.
“We should be looking at the budget we’ve already spent and we shouldn’t be doing it on top of ridiculous, politicized mandates that are hurting care and have no basis in science,” stated Rep. Roy.
“I’m fine w/ having debates & discussions about what the proper pay is for nurses & doctors at the VA…we should be looking at the budget we’ve already spent, & we shouldn’t be doing it on top of ridiculous, politicized mandates that are hurting care & have no basis in science” pic.twitter.com/GmYWN6e6Hu

They lawmakers added, the CDC has now admitted natural immunity may be stronger than vaccine immunity, meaning vaccine mandates were wrong all along. Republican then pointed out the Biden administration has imposed five separate vaccine mandates that hurt America and must be revoked.
