Police in Philadelphia have been on the hunt for the shooters responsible for the death of two men and the wounding of a toddler. According to reports on Saturday, individuals in an SUV pulled up and started shooting at the group in broad daylight.
Police discovered two men as well as a three-year-old child who’d been struck in the leg. The men died from their injuries and the toddler has been reported to be in stable condition. No arrests have been made, but authorities announced a weapon was recovered.
“I have boys that are in their 20s, in their 30s, and even if it’s not my child, this is somebody’s child,” expressed local resident Dionne Scott. “This just really doesn’t make any sense.”
This has been one of several triple shootings in the Democrat-run city over the weekend. Police reported three more people were hurt when a graduation party was fired on about half a mile from the fatal shooting. At least 50 shots were fired into the crowd of about 30 people.
