Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) is setting his sights on helping Republicans regain legislative and executive power. During an event hosted by the Ripon Society this week, the Wyoming lawmaker said he’s looking forward to a “successful 2022,” where he hopes the GOP will take back the majority in Congress.

Barrasso then warned that Joe Biden will sign whatever House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) or Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) hands him while suggesting Biden is “just along for the ride.”

“Mitch McConnell has come under a lot of criticism for saying at one point he wanted to make sure Barack Obama was a one-term president,” stated the Republican senator. “I want to make Joe Biden a one half-term president.”

Barrasso said his goal is to take back the House, Senate and White House.
