An aide to President Trump hinted the President is considering a visit to the U.S.-Mexico border.
In an interview on Friday, Trump adviser Jason Miller said he could see the President making a trip at some point in the future.
“I could see him doing that soon,” Miller said. “Not immediately, but I could see a trip, some point in the future here, but it is something that President Trump is really concerned about.”
The comments came as the Biden administration has rolled back border policies put in place during the Trump administration, resulting in a surge of illegal immigrants across the southern border.
The border crisis is a man-made crisis that is a direct consequence of President Biden’s decisions to stop building the wall, to return to catch and release, and to end the stay in Mexico policy.#SecureTheBorder #BidenBorderCrisis pic.twitter.com/HnwOyZ0HgV

However, Miller noted the President is waiting to let Joe Biden “fail on his own” before he steps in. He said President Trump is holding off on returning to the border so it doesn’t give Biden an excuse not to go himself.
