The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is giving the green light to vaccinated American’s by asserting indoor gatherings without masks are safe.
According to new guidance announced Monday, the national public health institute said fully vaccinated Americans can gather together without social distancing or masks. The latest recommendations also noted that vaccinated people can visit with other healthy low-risk people.
“CDC recommends that fully vaccinated people can visit with unvaccinated people from one other household indoors without wearing masks or physical distancing as long as the unvaccinated people and any unvaccinated members of their household are not at high risk for severe COVID-19 disease,” stated Dr. Rochelle Walensky, CDC Director.

Meanwhile, officials said a person is not considered fully vaccinated until two weeks after the last required dose.
Dr. Walensky also created more confusion about the vaccine by stating people should still be wearing masks in public even if they have been fully inoculated from COVID-19.
