President Trump is reportedly seeking to start a new political action committee, headed by a longtime ally.
Reports said the 45th President has chosen political adviser and aide Corey Lewandowski to head the yet to be formed super PAC. This came after a meeting on Thursday at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
Senior adviser Jason Miller said supporters of President Trump’s America first agenda are going to be impressed with the operation.
“MAGA supporters and candidates supporting President Trump’s America first agenda are going to be impressed with the political operation being built out here,” Miller said. “We expect formal announcements of the full team in the coming weeks, which will include some very talented operatives not yet named.”
Lewandowski served as President Trump’s first campaign manager and was a top adviser in his 2020 reelection campaign.
