Pence thanks American people for ‘privilege of serving’ as vice president

Vice President Mike Pence is expressing his gratitude to the American people ahead of his and President Trump’s departure from office. He posted on Twitter Tuesday to thank Americans for the privilege of serving them over the past four years.

Pence said serving as vice president has been the greatest honor of his life. He went on to thank the American people on behalf of the Second Lady and his entire family.

Pence attended the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris Wednesday before heading to his hometown in Indiana.
