President Trump recently reaffirmed his commitment to protect senior citizens from the coronavirus. On Thursday, he vowed to crush the virus and get our economy back on track.

“As President, I’m deeply aware that America’s 54 million seniors have borne the heaviest burden of the China virus,” he said. “Many older Americans have endured months of isolation, missing weddings, births, graduations, church and family communions.”

The President then touted Operation Warp Speed and announced the administration is on track to produce over 100 million vaccine doses this year.

He reiterated his promise to make the treatments he received, which helped him fight off the virus, available to America’s most vulnerable.

He also empathized with the losses the elderly and their families have endured during the pandemic.

“My heart breaks for every grieving family that has lost a precious loved one,” added President Trump. “I feel their anguish and I mourn their loss.”

The President added that together, we will end the pandemic, along with the left-wing lockdowns in our nation, and ensure our seniors will be able to live long, happy and secure lives.
