‘Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters’ – One America News Network

The Pentagon has unveiled new restrictions on media covering the US military, requiring them to pledge not to disclose anything not formally authorized for publication and limiting their movements within the "Department of War." The new guidelines, laid out in a lengthy memo distributed to reporters on Friday, require them to sign an affidavit promising to comply -- or risk losing their media credentials. The move is the latest by the administration of US President Donald Trump to control media coverage of his policies, and after he suggested that negative stories could be "illegal." The Pentagon has released a new batch of files related to UFOs and UAPs, marking the third release since the government began its wave of disclosures last month.

You can view them here.

The most recent batch includes 53 documents and 10 images from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Department of Defense and other unspecified agencies, as well as six videos and three NASA audio recordings.

A July 2008 CIA report is also included in the files, describing a UFO sighting above Zimbabwe’s Harare International Airport. At the time, officials did not know whether the hovering object, which appeared to resemble “beams,” was an extraterrestrial in nature or a reconnaissance device belonging to a foreign government.

“The object was disc-like in shape with a hollow center, and had a series of rotating lights on the underside of the airframe,” noted observers.

Another file consists of a video showing a bright object hovering over the backyard of a citizen in the northeastern U.S. — a “brilliant red sphere” about the size of a basketball.

In a July 2025 encounter, the video description read: “the witnesses described the orbs’ motion as silent and smooth, and as moving in tandem as though they were flying in formation or tethered together.”

Another video shows footage from an October 2024 encounter featuring “a light source below the horizon, hovering above a pond at an estimated distance of 2,700 feet,” according to the Pentagon’s description.

“The luminous object resembled a ‘plasma-like sphere’ intermittently changing shape and luminosity. At times, the primary light source appeared to separate into smaller luminous points. A luminous point below the primary source hovered just above the water and did not appear consistent with a surface reflection. The object remained generally stationary for approximately 45 minutes before disappearing,” the Pentagon continued.

A 2022 sighting near Colorado Springs, Colorado, depicts a “potato”-shaped object that appeared painted in a “creamy/whitish opalescent color somewhat translucent with a slight shimmer.”

The rolling release of the files was prompted by an executive order signed by President Donald Trump earlier this year, ordering federal agencies to declassify documents related to UFOs.
