Nathaniel Sanders II, of Miami Beach, Florida, has been charged in federal court after allegedly posting several threats to assassinate President Donald Trump and others from his administration on social media.
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced on Tuesday that after an appearance in the District Court for the Southern District of Florida on Monday, Sanders, 32, was charged with threatening the President of the United States and transmitting threats in interstate commerce.
According to a criminal complaint filed on Friday, May 1st, Sanders posted several threatening messages from his X account, “WHITE BOY NATE”, from at least January through April.
“Imma bomb the f**king White House you f**king pedophile,” read one post, likely directed at the president. Minutes later, he added in another post, “I mean it.”
United States Capitol Police notified the U.S. Secret Service’s (USSS) Protective Intelligence Operations Center (PIOC) in late January about the violent posts. The Secret Service Open Source Intelligence Branch (OSB) then conducted an investigation to identify the owner of the account. In a post dated January 22, 2026, the user wrote, “Written by: Nathanial Sanders II.”
Sanders was shown in an Instagram video from @badassnate83, apparently addressing First Lady Melania Trump, stating, “Your fake husband gotta be the biggest pedophile in the f**king world bro. I don’t know what to do Melania, like, all I got is a gun. It’s the only thing I can use now is a gun.”
Two minutes later, from the same Instagram account, Sanders seemed to speak to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, according to Secret Service Special Agent Jacob Macias, who submitted the affidavit.
“One thing about it, Marco, b**ch, yo no tengo miedo de nadie,” he stated, translating from Spanish to, “I’m not afraid of anyone.”
He continued, “because we all f**king bleed b**ch. Like a lot of people be forgetting they bleed just like everybody else. Like when I get my hands on him, I’m gonna hurt him. Simple as that.”
On April 17th, Sanders filmed another video on Instagram, allegedly meant for President Trump.
“You fata** orange pedophile a** pervert, when I see you – imma stomp your f**king head in imma step on your throat and I’m going to kill you in the worst f**king way,” he said. “You’re not a f**king president you a pedophile b**ch. And whenever you want this f**king issue, b**ch, come find me, b**ch. Come find me you fat f**k.”
Two days later, Sanders allegedly spoke to former Attorney General Pam Bondi in a video posted on the @s3norphantom Instagram account, threatening to “wear” her “like a boot.”
“Imma kill all y’all pedophiles. I don’t give a f**k y’all. B**ch, keep playing with me hoe. Imma kill you,” he continued.
If convicted of the charges against him, Sanders faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison.
“Posting threats online isn’t harmless—it’s a federal crime,” U.S. Attorney Jason A. Reding Quiñones for the Southern District of Florida warned on X on Tuesday. “Law enforcement will find you, charge you, and prosecute you. Think before you post.”
“Making threats against the President of the United States is a federal crime, and we treat it with the seriousness it deserves every time,” said Special Agent in Charge Michael Townsend of the USSS, Miami Field Office in a statement. “It does not matter where the threat is made or what platform is used, our agents will identify you, investigate you, and work alongside our federal and local partners to bring charges when appropriate. We remain relentless in our mission to protect the President and to act swiftly against anyone who puts others at risk.”
The criminal complaint was filed less than one week after the president and many other top Trump administration officials were evacuated from the White House Correspondents’ Dinner after a gunman fired at Secret Service agents in the lobby of the Washington Hilton, where the event was held. This marked the third major assassination attempt Trump has faced in less than three years.
