Former President Donald Trump announced on Sunday that he will not run for re-election should he lose the race to Vice President Kamala Harris.

On Sharyl Attkisson’s television show “Full Measure,” Trump informed the host that he would not be running for re-election in the event that he loses the upcoming November presidential election.
“I think that that will be, that will be it. I don’t see that at all,” Trump responded, after being asked about a possible fourth campaign.
Trump says he won’t run for office in 2028 if he doesn’t win the election in 2024.

Trump is currently running his third campaign after defeating Hillary Clinton in 2016, and losing to Joe Biden in 2020.
Trump’s age certainly has to be a factor in any possible future campaign, as he is currently 78 years old, which would put him at 82 years old in 2028.
